Police identify Suspect Wanted for Shooting Tuesday in Stratford

Police are searching for William Vincent, 38 years old, of Milverton in connection to the shooting.

Stratford Police have identified the suspect that is wanted in relation to a  targeted shooting which occurred Tuesday night in Stratford.

Police are searching for William Vincent, 38 years old, of Milverton in connection to the shooting.

Police are in the process of attaining a warrant for the offence of attempted murder with a firearm.

Police arrived at the scene on Stratford Street shortly after 7:30pm with investigation determining an unknown male suspect targeted the male victim outside of his residence causing non life threatening injures.

The suspect fled the scene in a white vehicle described possibly as a Chevrolet Monte Carlo who traveled south on Stratford Street and turned right onto Cambria Street towards Erie Street.

The vehicle was later found by Police in Hamilton.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact Stratford Police at 519-271-4141.

They urge the public not to approach the suspect but add there is no threat to public safety.
