Stratford Police are investigating a homicide.
On October 15th police and Perth County Paramedics responded to the scene at a home on Ontario Street where they found a 35 year old woman unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
The woman was taken to Stratford Hospital but later died from her injury.
A 41 year old man was found at the scene and arrested.
Stratford police say this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to public safety.
