The Stratford Police announced that an arrest has been made after a disturbance at a local high school yesterday morning.
Officers were called to Stratford District Secondary shortly before 11am Monday and a second call was received moments later to update that it also involved St. Mike’s Secondary located next to SDSS.
Police attended and all involved parties were located with the assistance of the Admin Teams at both schools.
After speaking with the involved, police learned an employee of St. Mike’s became involved in the dispute with several students at SDSS.
As a result of the dispute an employee was alleged to have assaulted a 16-year-old female with her sustaining minor injuries.
The 66-year old resident of Stratford was subsequently arrested and taken to police headquarters.
They have been charged with assault and were released with a court date on February 27th.
