Stratford police have charged three people in connection to a robbery in the city.
On January 2nd just before 2am police were flagged down by a woman who had visible injuries to her head.
It was learned the victim went to a home on Cawston Street where she was dragged inside by three individuals.
The accused demanded the victim to hand over her property which included her purse, cash and ID. Her phone was also smashed and was threatened to be shot.
Stratford Police arrived at the home and made contact with the suspects with all 3 arrested just before 8am.
A search warrant conducted later that morning resulted in seizing four replica pellet guns, a .38 special bullet, brass knuckles, bear spray, $240 in counterfeit Canadian currency and a bag with over one gram of suspected methamphetamine.
As a result all three suspects were charged with Forcible Confinement, Assault with a Weapon, Robbery with a Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
All three were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
