Stratford-Perth Pride is looking for organizations and community members in helping plan and organize Perth County’s first Trans Pride Week in November.
Stratford-Perth Pride is looking towards its first annual Trans Pride Week from November 13th-20th.
The goal is to hold various events and programs to increase awareness, knowledge and acceptance of the trans community in Perth County.
President of Stratford-Perth Pride, AJ Adams says they are looking to the community, specifically Perth County’s trans community to provide direct of events and programming to be offered during the week.
Some ideas proposed include raising a trans flag, educational workshops, panel discussions and a candle vigil for the Trans Day of Remembrance.
