With cold weather sticking around for the rest of the week, the City of Stratford is reminding residents they can keep warm at a list of facilities which are open to the public.

City hall is open weekdays from 8:30am-4:30pm. the Stratford Rotary Complex and the Stratford Public Library also can act as warming centres for those that need it.

Cold weather risks are at their highest for young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and those without proper shelter.

Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with the windchill.
