With a heat wave continuing across the region and cooler temperatures not expected until Saturday, Stratford is opening up their cooling centre.
Those in need of relief from the heat with expected temperatures in the mid 30’s to low 40’s the centre is open at the Rotary Complex in Community Hall C from 9am-9pm today and from 9am-6pm on Friday.
The space is air conditioned with washrooms on site and water available.
The Stratford Public Library is also available as a cooling station.
