A Stratford man is doing his happy dance after matching all seven Encore numbers in a recent Lotto Max draw.
Vasile Racolta, a father of two and grandfather of one has been a long time lottery player but this is his first big win, coming up with a $1 million prize in the March 14th draw.
Racolta says he was at home when he discovered he won and when he told his sons they jokingly said it wasn’t enough, sharing a good laugh.
Racolta will use his winnings to share with his family and purchase a home.
The winning ticket was sold at Little Short Stop on Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge.
