A 33 year old Stratford porch pirate has been arrested and charged by police.
Stratford police responded to a call after 12pm on January 10th after a resident had received an alert from their front porch camera who was then was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect to officers.
Police were able to locate the male in a parking lot where he was arrested and found two packages in his backpack during a search.
The man was found to have a number of stolen items, including a license plate stolen in 2020.
Stratford police charged the man with theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
A court date is scheduled for February 28th.
