Stratford’s Energy and Environment Advisory Committee has kicked of the 2nd edition of the Green Recognition Program and is looking for nominees.
The program is intended to support leaders who promote a variety of sustainable practices and raise awareness on how the community continues to work towards a net zero future.
The program highlights the efforts of those helping the city reach its target of 30 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
Submissions can be made with a variety of categories including waste reduction and diversion, energy management, the green building award and tourism.
Submissions can be made until March 15th with selected residents, businesses or organizations being recognized on April 22nd-26th.
