A Stratford resident who has seen the double lung transplant she received in June of 2018 rejected by her body.
Brandi Skyring, a 19 year old who suffers from cystic fibrosis, has started a fundraiser in hopes of finding the money to fund her recover following the second transplant in Toronto under the care of her mother.
The Donor Specific Antibody Rejection has caused major scarring in her current lungs and issues with them are not reversible.
Donations toward the $10,000 goal currently sit at just over $2400.
