Stratford Festival officially kicked off its season last night, celebrating 70 years with a full return to programming across its four theatres.
The past few years has seen cancellations due to the pandemic as audiences slowly returned to the festival, enjoying shows outdoors.
The season kicked off at the Festival Theatre on 55 Queen Street with more opening ceremonies planned later this week.
On Friday, Stratford Festival will host a Red Carpet event starting at 7;15pm at Festival Theatre with a performance of Chicago at 8.
Another Red Carpet event will be hosted on Saturday at 7:15 and a performance of Richard III at the Tom Patterson Theatre.
On June 5th the Pride Toast will be held at the Tom Patterson at 11am with the Perth County Pride March starting at the theatre at 1pm.
