Stratford is expanding with its green bin program.
Officials say last year, a total of 991 metric tonnes of organic waste was collected from the program which diverted waste to roughly the same amount of carbon dioxide emissions from 41.7 passenger vehicles in a year.
The expansion will include commercial, institutional and multi residential buildings to be included in the program.
