Stratford is considering a new winter operations plan which would help residents better understand when their streets or sidewalks would be cleared, sanded or salted after a snowstorm.
This plan was presented to the city’s standing committee on infrastructure, transportation and labour relations. The plan lays out responsibilities and actions of Stratford’s public works department during the winter months of October 1st-April 30th.
If approved by council, residents would have get access and understand when certain streets would be cleared of snow.
The hopeful plan is to have it ready by next fall, before the winter season.
