Canadensys Aerospace, a Stratford based company has been awarded a contract from the federal government to help build and design a rover which could be sent the south pole region of the moon as early as 2026.
The rover will be carrying multiple Canadian and American science payloads.
The rover mission will also be a focus on geology, astronaut health and life science and shadowed regions and volatiles.
This would be one of Canada’s first lunar rover missions.
