A downtown Stratford business has been named the Emerging Ecommerce Entrepreneur of the Year as part of eBay’s annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
The awards which honour Canadian small businesses who achieve success on the website’s global marketplace.
Karina Bogle, who owns White-Balmer Shoes on Ontario Street will be receiving $10,000 as part of the award.
Balmer, who purchased the store in August of 2019 was forced to make some shifts and changes when the pandemic first happened and offered service online, linking the store to eBay and finding large success in offering both online and in person.
Bogle says the cash will be reinvested to her business.
