The Downtown Stratford BIA has requested an extension on emergency business loan repayments with the deadline quickly approaching.
The BIA says businesses are still not out of the woods from the pandemic and need more time to pay back the loans.
Businesses were offered $60,000 interest free loans to businesses hit by the pandemic with a deadline for January 18th next year.
Stratford council gave their approval of a letter request from the BIA which will be sent to all 444 municipalities across Ontario.
