Over $3000 in drugs has been seized following a search warrant.
On March 9th at around 9:45am, Wellington County OPP received a report of stolen property involving musical instruments and tools taken from a storage unit back in September 2024.
Investigation revealed the victim had a tracking device on a stolen item, leading to an address in Brampton with the victim just now contacting police on the historical theft.
On May 14th a search warrant was executed in the city with the stolen goods found valued at $4500 and suspected meth and heroin worth $3490.
The 42 year old of Brampton was charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking meth and heroin.
The accused will appear in court in August.
