Katherine Ballantyne of St Marys has been named the winner of the March 50/50 draw in the St Marys Healthcare Foundation monthly draw.
Ballantyne is taking home $14,248, the largest pot in the healthcare foundation yet. Funds for the 50/50 go back to the healthcare foundation as they work towards their upcoming Patient Room Rebuild Project at the St Marys Memorial Hospital.
Ballantyne works as a registered massage therapist and said she intends to use her winnings on a trip out west next summer with her husband and kids.
Tickets are still on sale for the April draw which will take place on May 9th.
Tickets can be purchased by any Ontario resident over 18 from the St Marys Healthcare Foundation website
