The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St Marys has received donations to help improve their fields and facilities.
Officials with the Hall of Fame said the Jays Care Foundation, Town of St Marys and St Marys Minor Ball Association have all contributed to improvements.
St Marys was among one of 14 recipients of funding from the Toronto Blue Jays charitable organization, the Field of Dreams program.
The grant will allow the Hall of Fame to replace the backstop on the St Marys Cement Field, install an infield irrigation system on three of its main fields, build bullpens on Kings Field and get bleacher seating.
The Town of St Marys and St Marys Minor Ball Association is offering support to allow the hall of fame to purchase new tools and equipment to prepare the fields and improve lighting on the site and repair the outfield on the playing surface of Rotary Field.
