With the help of the St Marys Cement Plant and owner of 425 Church Street South, the St Marys Fire Department now has the tools to take part in real world training this evening.
The opportunity will help provide firefighters a more realistic environment to conduct training in subjects such as command and control, multi-vehicle collaboration, strategic prioritizing, hose deployment, ladder deployment and accountability.
Fire Chief Richard Anderson in a release wrote they are very grateful to the St Marys Cement Plant to allow the use of the important training.
Training will take place this evening weather depending.
