The emergency department at the St Marys Memorial Hospital will see a reduction in hours due to staffing issues.
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says starting Saturday the emergency department in St Marys will close at 6pm, opening again at 7am and 6pm and will then operate during those hours until June 15th when it shifts back to its regular hours of operation.
Those in need of urgent but not emergency care, hospital emergency departments such as the Stratford General Hospital remains open.
Anyone in need of immediate medical attention should call 911.
