A driver from St. Marys has been charged with impaired operation after a single vehicle collision on Cobble Hills Road in Perth County.
Officers responded just before noon on New Years Eve to find the driver in the collision had already fled the scene.
They were located nearby and arrested.
The 21 year old has been charged with impaired operation and blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
The accused was released and set to appear in a Stratford court at a later date to answer to the charges.
