An impaired driver was caught after they were racing more than 50km the posted speed limit.
On November 26th just before 11pm, a Perth County OPP officer was on patrol on Line 34 in Perth East.
They observed a vehicle travelling 54km/hr over the posted limit. During investigation, the officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol and was arrested for further testing.
A 48 year old from Perth East has been charged Racing and Operation While Impaired.
The accused will appear in Stratford court at a later date.
