Species at Risk Partnerships Intake Begins Tuesday

Farmers who are interested in planting buffer strips or windbreaks are being encouraged to apply for the Species At Risk Partnerships on Agricultural Lands program.

The program offered by the Ontario Soil & Crop Improvement Association has eligible tree planting projects also be stack-able with the Perth County Stewardship Program.

The next intake for the program will be accepted on November 26th.

Those looking for extra help of the programs are encouraged to reach out to the Maitland Valley

Conservation Authority or the Perth County Resiliency and Stewardship Coordinator.
