South Huron Resident Charged with Impaired Operation

Officers found the driver asleep in the drivers seat at a residence

Huron County OPP have charged a South Huron resident with impaired driving following a traffic stop.

On Thursday June 2nd, at around 12:39pm OPP received a call of a vehicle being operated in Crediton in a very erratic manner.

Police began to patrol for the suspect and soon it was seen at a residence on Victoria Street East.

Officers noticed the driver was sleeping in the driver seat, upon waking the driver, officers noted the man had consumed alcohol and was showing signs of impairment.

The 32 year old from South Huron has been charged with Operation While Impaired and will appear in Goderich court on July 25th.
