The Ontario Government is reportedly planning to keep schools closed for the remainder of the academic school year. They haven’t finalized the decision by Member of the Cabinet yet though.
The current Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams and the Provincial Science Advisory Table have both supported the resumption of in-person learning.
Ford is said to be hesitant to allow children to return to classrooms out of concerns over a potential increase in case counts.
