Nothing can really compare to a bowl of hot soup on a fall day, even better when that soup you’re enjoying is helping the local hospital.
Kitchen Cupboard and Icebox is doing just that with their Souper Fundraiser running for the rest of this week. $1 from every bowl and $2 from bucket sold goes directly to the Listowel Memorial Hospital. Karen from KCI says the importance of supporting local matters everywhere, even in the hospital.
“The hospital is really important in our community and in many different ways a healthy community needs a good strong hospital. We have a lot of small businesses here and we want to see them keep growing and the hospital is a big part of this.” said Karen.
