The Special Investigations Unit has said there was no police wrongdoing in the arrest of a Stratford woman in August.
On August 21st at 2:45am, Stratford Police arrested a 36 year old woman who breached conditions of a release order and taken to a holding cell who at 11am was found in medical distress in her cell.
Paramedics were called and multiple doses of Narcan used.
The woman was taken to hospital and treated for an overdose.
SIU Director Joseph Martino determined there was no reasonable grounds to believe officers committed a criminal offence to the womans hospitalization.
