The Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate after a suspect suffered an injury after a traffic stop.
On August 17th at around 8:15am, Wellington County OPP were called to a traffic stop on St David Street in Fergus.
Following investigation the driver was arrested but during the arrest the suspect suffered an injury and was taken to hospital.
OPP notified the SIU who are now investigating the matter.
