Set7 is helping build childcare capacity in North Perth and the region with the launch of the Launch a Home Daycare program.
This 6 week training opportunity is designed to support community members in starting their own unlicensed childcare business.
Set7 was given grant funding from Libro Credit Union to launch the program and support high quality childcare options in the community.
Amy Gangl, Director of Community Services says this will give the community the knowledge, tools and resources to run a home daycare business and help them achieve their goals and have confidence in the future.
Seven participants completed the full program, which has the potential to bring 35 new childcare spaces to the community.
