A two vehicle collision in West Perth yesterday morning sent one driver to hospital with serious injuries.
Just after 10 am on Monday, Perth County OPP, West Perth Fire Department and Perth County Paramedics responded to a 2 vehicle collision on Line 44, in West Perth.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a pickup truck travelling eastbound on Line 44 crossed the centre line, and struck a tow truck travelling westbound. The pickup truck entered the ditch and came to rest in a field.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the tow truck was not injured.
The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
