The series between the Mitchell Hawks and Stayner Siskins is now tied at one a piece after an overtime winner for the Hawks.
A slightly bruised and beaten Hawks roster from illness, injury, suspension and a game ejection put the Hawks in the hot seat for the game with the ejection occurring in the third period but Mitchell held on to force overtime.
Braeden Burdett banked home the overtime winner to give Mitchell the 3-2 win.
With the series tied, Mitchell will host game 3 on Thursday night at 7:30pm.
