Search Warrant Digs Up Quantity of Drugs

 

A search warrant in Howick has turned up a quantity of illegal drugs.

On March 27th a traffic stop done in Perth County resulted in the seizure of controlled substances with one person being arrested at the time.

On March 28th a search warrant was executed at a home in Wroxeter on Centre Street.

Three people were found inside with two being charged.

As a result police seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine as well as a digital scale, packaging material and cell phones.

A quantity of Canadian cash was also taken as well as recovered stolen property such as a flat bed trailer, e-bike and road signs.

A 31 year old and 40 year old of Howick were both charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and remanded into custody.

A 48 year old of Howick has been charged with similar offences as well as Altering/Removing VIN and remanded into custody.
