Huron County Clean Water Project Applications Open

Huron County has opened up applications for its Clean Water Project.

The fund supports water quality projects in Huron County with $500,000 in available funds for projects by Huron County residents, landowners and community groups.

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority and Maitland Valley Conservation Authority deliver the program on behalf of the county.

Huron County Warden Glen McNeil in a release says the total value of past Huron Clean Water projects is an astounding $14.5 million.

Since 2005 residents have completed nearly 4000 stewardship projects with funding from the Clean Water Project.
