As North Perth council is set to return to the chambers next week, there is another new face representing Listowel.
Sarah Blazek was elected to her first term following the October 24th election and is beyond grateful to have the support of residents.
Like many fellow councilors, Blazek says while there is much to address, healthcare needs to be tackled.
“I have spoken at great length with the physician recruitment officer for our community and seen where some of the holes are and where we can do better the things we might need to do to make our community appealing and marketable to physicians and their families coming in. People don’t want to see their hospital with a closed sign.” said Blazek.
Blazek adds she wants to make sure the entire community continues to grow and have a place for those to come home to a raise children and grow the foundation of North Perth.
“I want our children to grow up feeling as much in love with this community as much as I am. I want them to know this is a great place to come home to and put down roots and raise their own children.”
