Roundabout construction will be begin next week on a road in Mapleton which has long been the sight for multiple crashes and deaths.
Work starts May 20th at Wellington Road 8 and 9 and road resurfacing on Wellington Road 9 from 8 to 109.
The road, more-so known as the S-Bend to the public has long been a discussion of incidents with a list of crashes, some leading to deaths.
The work is expected to last until October.
The road will remain open with one lane of traffic but delays are expected and drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route.
