Ronald McDonald House is continuing expansion across Southwestern Ontario.
The house helps provide a place to stay while their child gets medical care.
Ronald McDonald House helps support families who need to travel long distances who operate entirely on communities to support them who do not get any government related funds.
Rachel Macaulay, Vice President, Philanthropy & Community Relations for Ronald McDonald House says this boost will continue to support more families.
“That’s in and around 2000-2400 families last year served alone as we look to double the amount of families served we hopefully are able to serve an additional 1000 families each year and hopefully another 2500-4000 families will be served.” said Macaulay
2 out of 3 Canadian families live outside a city with a children’s hospital and this additon will provide another boost for families across Southwestern Ontario.
