Canada’s industry minister will have a meeting with the leader of Rogers after the massive outage which shut down service for its customers and shot down a variety of 911 service and hospital phone lines and interac machines.
In a statement from Francois-Philippe Champagne, he plans to meet with Tony Staffieri and other telecom leaders to discuss the importance of improving networks.
There was more than 2200 outage reports at 5pm on Saturday with 1479 at 8:30am on Sunday morning.
