As more of the province begins to open up again, Listowel is going full gear with many events to get more residents out and to enjoy the community.
Riverview Park is among those in the community inviting everyone out for a BBQ and car show as well the chance to view the retirement home.
Caroline Hill from Riverview Park says the work done for the retirement community is progressing well and just about complete.
“Our landscaping is just about done. It’s going to be a very exciting day and we’re really excited to just be open to the public.” said Hill
The Community Car Show, BBQ and Open House will run from 2-3pm on Saturday July 24th at Riverview Park on 595 Havelock Ave South. The BBQ lunch is free for all attendees and to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to It Takes a Village.
