Additional vehicles are being added to address the increasing demand for Wellington County’s ride share service.
Ride Well will be adding another vehicle to cover peak periods in the morning and the afternoon.
The service currently see’s around 30-40 rides a day with 600-800 per month.
Economic Development Committee Chair Jeff Duncan in a release says as the demand grows, the County has recognized now is the time to increase the service to accommodate the growth.
Since launching in October 2019, Ride Well has provided door to door transportation across Wellington County and Guelph using ride sharing technology to increase its efficiency.
