After 39 years of service, Mapleton Fire Chief Rick Richardson is hanging up his hat.
July 14th will mark his final day as Fire Chief before retiring.
In a release, Rick has been well decorated as an integral part of the Mapleton Fire Department since January 1984, serving as Fire Chief since 2002.
Mapleton is giving their best wishes to Richardson and his family as he embarks on the next chapter of his life.
