The total cost of remuneration for Mapleton council members was up $22,949 last year.
Mayor Gregg Davidson saw a remuneration of $34,698 in 2022 with a base salary of $26,082, per diems of $3680 and expenses of $4935 which included registration fees, parking mileage, meals and hotel bills.
The total cost of council pay and expenses was $117,743 in 2022, an increase of $94,794 in 2021.
