Remembrance Day in Listowel Going Virtual

The Listowel Legion, like most others will be going virtual for their Remembrance Day Ceremony.

The public is asked to go to the Listowel Legions Facebook page. The Legion will be conducted an 11 hour stand of respect at the cenotaph where representatives stand one hour shifts starting at 6am. Casey Fraser from the Listowel Legion says this year its all about paying respect online for the public.

“We welcome people to stay at home and watch on Facebook and we will try find a way to broadcast on Youtube.” said Fraser.

There will be a soup and sandwich lunch served at the legion following the ceremony, COVID rules will apply with limited capacity.
