The application intake is now open for the 14th annual Minto Mayor’s Golf Tournament.
Set for August 8th at Pike Lake, the annual charity tournament has helped raise $140,000 with 44 local groups benefiting from the tournament.
The proceeds has supported a list of projects, beautify downtown, sports equipment and supporting youth in Minto.
Mayor Dave Turton says this event always is a big success which is made so by those who help organize it.
“When I talk about we, it’s Janet, Quinn, Tanya and you guys who do all this work and I appreciated. We’re going to have another successful tournament.” said Turton.
Non profits are encouraged to apply which can include community betterment, service clubs and sports clubs. Applications are open until March 11th.
