The Ray Walter Memorial Scholarship is now open with Ward & Uptigrove.
Students graduating from Listowel District Secondary School and entering a post secondary business program are encouraged to apply with those pursuing accounting preferred.
The scholarship honours Ray Walter, a dedicated team member and friend of the staff and clients at Ward & Uptigrove.
Walter served as a volunteer firefighter who lost his life during a fire call in Listowel on March 17th 2011.
A successful candidate will be factored in with overall academic achievement in school, dedication to community involvement and have a track record of leadership in and out of school.
Applications are due by June 16th.
