A resident of Central Huron is facing a racing charge following a traffic stop by Huron County OPP on New Year’s Eve.
On Thursday, December 31st at approximately 3:44pm an officer was conducting speed enforcement patrols on Huron Road near Kinburn Line when a motor vehicle was observed travelling westbound at a high rate of speed.
The speed of the vehicle was measured with a radar unit and the speed was confirmed to be in excess of 50 km over the 80 km speed limit.
A 18 year old female of Central Huron has been charged with racing a motor vehicle excessive speed. A court date has been set for February 2nd at a Goderich Court.
