Stephen Dartt of Quebec has been biking across Canada, making his way through Wellington County last week during his Trek for Hope.
The 57 year old is raising funds with a goal of $30,000 to the Make a Wish Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society. Dartt is battling a rare form of cancer known as cholangiocarcinoma.
Dartt made a stop in Arthur on August 19th after stopping in Fergus for the night the day prior as he also made the stop at the Gueph Lake Conservation Area this past weekend. Dartt is hoping to get as far as Newfoundland on his journey.
