The Town of St Marys says the pool at the Pyramid Recreation Centre could reopen on Friday.
The pool was closed last week after a pipe which prevents rainwater from collecting on the roof fell from the ceiling and into the water.
Nobody was in the pool at the time of the incident with the town saying this incident is a serious near miss.
The town says all repairs and replacements have been made with an engineer confirming the pool area is safe to the public.
