Public Meeting for Proposed Severing of Surplus Dwelling from Farm Land

Resulting surplus dwelling would be zoned non-agricultural

There has been a Public Meeting announced in regards to a proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment that is before council.

The meeting is schedule for Monday, September 13th beginning at 7pm.

The meeting will be remote and the topic will be the proposed amendment for Lot 37, Concession 3 in the Wallace Ward with a civic address of 8436 Road 167.

The remote meeting is to replace the in-person meeting required to be held under the Ontario Planning Act.

The property is currently zoned agricultural and the purpose of the amendment is to permit the severing of a surplus farm dwelling and limit its use to non-farm residential.
